Book haul August 2017

Last month I didn't manage to read a lot of books, so it's good that I also didn't buy a lot of new books, all in all just five. I also bought four new bookmarks, I honestly have more than enough already, but I have no willpower when it comes to saying no to bookmarks.

In August I concentrated on other hobbies besides reading, I spent a lot of time learning something new. I love reading books, don't get me wrong, however from time to time it's nice to focus on something else.

My new bookmarks are from the German seller Nastami-cards, I like the quotes on them and their design appeals to me.

The new books are

I already read, enjoyed and reviewed "Secrets in Death". "Ökoroutine" is a German non-fiction book I'm super excited about, it's about ecological issues and solutions (more or less). I finally bought two new cozy mysteries, both feature cats on their covers. I haven't read a cozy mystery by a new to me author for some time, it's time to change that. And then I bought a sports romance by Kate Meader. I like the sound of the book and heard good things about it, so I'm excited to give it a go myself.

Which new books did you buy/get in August 2017?

  1. I bought way more than I should have but among my favorites were The Perfect Recipe for Love and Friendship by Shirley Jump and Shattered by Allison Brennan. Both were very good reads!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your books! I love trying new to me cozy authors.
