Jinx - Meg Cabot

young adult
contemporary with some possible magical aspects
another reread book
another book that is here to stay
Jinx is sent to New York to stay with her aunt and uncle
she hopes for a fresh start
but it isn't easy
her cousin doesn't like her
then there is the boy from next door
and the fact that maybe she is a witch
a mostly light-hearted, funny and heart-warming book
I liked Jinx as the main character a lot
the book is not without flaws
especially towards the end of the story
but overall I had a great time reading it
so the book will stay on my shelves.

  1. I remember that books from high school! Enjoyed it then, not sure about now.

    1. I was very happy to discover that I still enjoy the book. I might see some of its flaws more clearly, but still liked it.

      Happy Reading!
