Favourite books read in 2015

2015 was overall a good and interesting reading year for me. I read some amazing books, but of course also a lot that were just ok or that even disappointed me so much.

I changed as a reader, started to be a bit more careful about which books I bought and in general slowed down a bit with reading. I like the chances I made, I'm a happier reader because of them.

I also sorted out books that I didn't love and I'm very happy with how my bookshelves look right now. Owning only books I enjoyed is such a nice feeling.

I read a nice mix of adult and YA novels, some sweet romances but also darker (but not too dark!) UF books. Some mysteries were also part of my life as a reader and let's not forget fantasy.

My favorite books of 2015
young adult print
Winter - Marissa Meyer
The beginning of everything - Robyn Schneider
The sea of tranquility - Katja Millay
Every Breath - Ellie Marney
When - Victoria Laurie
Magonia - Maria Headley
Everblaze - Shannon Messenger
Prudence - Gail Carriger
Carry On - Rainbow Rowell
Everything leads to you - Nina LaCour

adult print
First time in forever - Sarah Morgan
Spider's Trap - Jennifer Estep
Deadly Forecast - Victoria Laurie
Murder of crows - Anne Bishop
Omens - Kelley Armstrong
When it's right - Jennifer Ryan
Second Chance Summer - Jill Shalvis
The Liar - Nora Roberts

ebooks: adult and new adult
Drawn Together - Lauren Dane
Chaser - Staci Hart
Just this once - Rosalind James
Sweet Hope - Tillie Cole
Looking for you - Lindsay Paige and Mary Smith
The friend zone - Kristen Callahan

Happy 2016!

  1. I love Nina LaCour!! I really liked Everything Leads to You as well... and all her other books. I can't wait until she writes another! I also really want to read The Sea of Tranquility. It's been on my TBR forever it seems and I've heard so much great about it!! Great reading for you last year... hope you're 2016 reading goes as well :)

    1. I think in 2016 a new book by her and David Levithan is going to be published. I'm excited for the book but also anxious because I don't know how her way to create stories might change when working together with another author.

The Sea of Tranquility was a book I had on my wish list for a long time, I'm very happy that I finally bought and read it.

Hope that 2016 will bring you many wonderful books!

  2. That's a great list! Many of your favorites are on my TBR for 2016 : Winter, Carry On, Omens...
I've been sorting out books I didn't love for a few years, and my shelves have felt and looked much better since. It's so nice to look and see only a bunch of books you love!
    Happy reading for 2016!

  3. Yay for Gail Carriger and Anne Bishop, and of course Nora Roberts!
