Graffiti Moon - Cath Crowley

young adult contemporary
the second ya book I recently reading that involves graffitis
Lucy just needs to find out who Shadow is
Shadow, who is leaving graffitis that touch her deeply
but what if Shade is someone Lucy didn't expect?
I was very excited to read "Graffiti Moon"
I loved the synopsis and the cover
but I unfortunately struggled with the story
it's gritty and something about the mood of the story
wasn't perfect for me
the life of some of the teens seemed pretty hopeless
and that might be realistic
but I personally prefer more light-hearted stories
I also struggled a bit with the male main character
at times he didn't seem to have that much depth
and the writing style also wasn't perfect for me
if you are looking for an intense YA novel
then "Graffiti Moon" could be great for you
for me it wasn't what I was looking for.

  1. Thanks, doesn't sound like something I would be interested in either!

  2. I had heard a lot of good about this book, but it's been on my wishlist forever. I don't mind intense YA reads so maybe this would work better for me? I hope your next read is better :)
