Books on my wish list

To change the usual procedure of review after review I thought it would be nice to talk from time to time about books I have on my wish list. All books are already published, so you can buy them right away. I plan to do so soon through my local bookstore.

I think I will do another post like that soon, because there are a lot of books on my wish list. Some more YA books, but also many contemporary romances and books from other genres that sound amazing.

Imprudence (The Custard Protocol) - Gail Carriger

The second book in the Custard Protocol series was just released and this steampunk YA book is one I need in my life soon. I read and enjoyed book #1, Prudence, in the series a few month ago and I'm ready for more charming and hilarious adventures by Gail Carriger.

All the birds in the skyCharlie Jane Anders

As soon as I saw the beautiful cover of this book, I needed to find out more about the story. Would the content sound as compelling as the book looks? It does! Witches and scientists are important characters in the story and then there is this secret organization. Plus the story is about being different, about friendship and more. This definitely sounds amazing and like a book I need in my life.

Love, Lucy - April Lindner

The paperback version of this YA romance was just released and I have been waiting for this day for quiet some time now. I like YA romances without constant dramatic developments, YA romances that are light-hearted, charming and that focus on the characters and offer a great setting (Italy), I think that "Love, Lucy" could include all of that.

A Natural History of Dragons: A Memoir by Lady Trent (Memoir By Lady Trent 1) - Marie Brennan

This is a fantasy book that looks and sounds unlike anything I have ever read. A story that should combine great characters, fantastical beings, charm and adventure. Our main character is a dragon naturalist and also a Lady. Need I say more?

A Veronica Speedwell Mystery - A Curious Beginning - Deanna Rayburn

This historical mystery, the first in a new series, comes highly recommended by some of my favourite book bloggers, so of course I looked at the book more closely. The story promises a thrilling adventure, the book is set in Victorian England and should also come with strong characters, all very good reasons to buy and read it.

Which books do you plan to buy soon?

  1. I was able to download the Raybourn book from Netgalley right now! Thanks.

    1. Hope that you will enjoy the story.

      Happy Reading!
