Three Contemporary romances

I'm right now working on finally reading about eight ebooks that I bought around two months ago and haven't read so far. Don't ask me how it happened, but somehow I forgot about them. The books were all bought when I was sick, so maybe that's why not all of them turned out to be perfect for me. I definitely should have read more about the plots of the books before buying them.

I don't have that much to say about the books because sadly they didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

Powerplay - Tiffany Snow
The writing style was ok for me, however the characters didn't appeal to me and the way the plot developed didn't work for me at all. How I missed that this would be a story with one woman between two men is something I can't understand. I'm not a fan of love triangles, so this story was definitely not for me.

Breathless in Love - Bella Andre & Jennifer Skully
I usually like the contemporary romances by Bella Andre, but this one written together with Jennifer Skully didn't excite me that much. The story was ok, but never managed to engage my emotions. The main issue was the writing style, I can't say why but it made it hard to get into a good reading flow. In the future I plan to read more books by Bella Andre, but not from this series.

Rule breaker - Harper Kincaid
The first four chapters of the story were good for me, I was interested in the characters and wanted to learn more about their developing romance. But the longer the story went on, the less interested I was in it. The romance started to be a bit annoying and I was no longer interested in the characters. So in the end another book that wasn't for me.

Dear fellow readers, I learned my lesson, in the future I will be more careful about buying books when being sick.
