On the bottom of my bookmark box are the bookmarks that on first glance look all pretty and special, but which aren't that convenient to use in real life. Right now I'm not willing to give these bookmarks away, but still don't plan to use them in the future.
These bookmarks are designed for smaller paperbacks, the rubber goes around the book and keeps the bookmark in place when you are not reading. Sounds and is functional, but still I never use them. I don't even know why, but I prefer bookmarks without the rubber.
I love the look of this bookmark, when you close your book the zipper is visible, it looks pretty cool. But I almost never use it, it is a bit too heavy for my taste and doesn't always stay in the book.
I made the bookmark on the left, it's one I like to look at, but once again I prefer the classic bookmarks over this one. You put it on the top corner of the book and then close it, it works, but not always perfectly.
The two bookmarks on the right are both magnetic, both are pretty heavy and I always fear that they will destroy the page they are on.
Another magnetic bookmark, this time with an added rubber to keep it in place when the book is closed. This is own of the prettiest bookmarks I own, but once again it's pretty heavy, too heavy for my taste.
More pretty, but also very heavy bookmarks. All of them are made of metal, I love the colors, I love the forms and motives, and yet they are not that practical to use.
