A book blog

When you look up the meaning of the word blog online, you will find something like

a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis.

So it's a pretty open concept, so why the hell have I in the last months thought that book blogging needs to look a certain way? That I need to write certain posts? That long, detailed reviews are a must? That not writing them makes me a loser at book blogging?
I'm finally over this, from now on About Happy Books will be a bit like a diary (nearly wrote dairy :)) of my bookish adventures, thoughts and so on. Nothing too fancy, nothing too profound, just my books, a lot of fun and good times.

  1. I feel the same way and have some big plans to change how I run my blog. :) I hope you enjoy letting your blog represent you and not everyone else. That's my new goal.

    1. That's one great goal, one that I'm also working on.
