Buying books is fun

Ten new books to read and have a good time with, here they are.

The billionaire's trophy - Lynne Graham
Allegiant - Veronica Roth
The distance between us - Kasie West (already read the book and enjoyed it a lot)
A ring to secure his heir - Lynne Graham
Across a star-swept sea - Diana Peterfreund (companion novel to For darkness shows the stars)
So pretty it hurts - Katie White
Brooklyn Girls - Gemma Burgess
Where'd you go, Bernadette? - Maria Semple
The dark unwinding - Cameron
Dark light of day - Jill Archer

Happy Reading!

  1. Great book haul. I especially like the cover of "The distance between us"

    1. Me too, and the book itself was also very good.

  2. Oh across a star swept sea is published. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm dying to know your opinion about Allegiant. The ratings are various. I've read it already, liked it but not as much as the others of Roth's series.

    1. I already read about what happened at the end of Allegiant and I'm surprised that so many readers are shocked by it. After the way Roth killed some characters rather carelessly at the ending of book one it's something I actually expected.

  3. I am very curious to your thoughts on Dark Light of Day. I did buy this series.

    1. I will start with the book in a few days and I have high hopes for it, it sounds like a light paranormal and just what I'm in the mood for now.
