I'm slowly making my way through my favourite books that I read so far in 2013 and now it's time to talk about the good books I read in April. In April I read over 20 books and six of them belonged to my good books.
Anne of Green Gables - L.M- Montgomery
This classic was love at first sentence, I loved every page of the book, the setting and especially Anne made me so happy and excited for more. This is a must read for me now that I would recommend to every reader.
Let the sky fall - Shannon Messenger
This paranormal YA book with air beings was very fascinating and the world-building made me excited for more. The romance developed in a good pace and I can't wait to find out what will happen next, I'm expecting some exciting and dramatic developments
Legacy of the Clockwork Key - Kirsten Bailey
This YA book with Steampunk elements is the first in a new series and I liked this book a lot. You have a set of likable characters, some light, very nice Steampunk elements and a dangerous group of inventors. The book has a good, solid ending and I will definitely go on with #2 in the series.
Heatseeker - Lucy Monroe
This was my kind of romantic suspense book. Not too dark, with two emotional romances and some action. Lucy Monroe always manages to create the perfect mix of suspense and romance, nearly all of her latest book have made me excited for more and "Heatseeker" is no exception.
Colours of Love 1 & 2 (German books) - Kathryn Taylor
This German duology (please don't ask me why German books have sometimes non-German titles, I have no explanation for it!) has a bit of the 50 Shades of Grey vibe and some similar story elements, this was actually something that made the books interesting for me. The duology is set in London and I liked both books, the main characters, even the drama and especially the love story. Book #1 was IMO a bit stronger, but book #2 was still a good one. You shouldn't expect something totally new from these two books, but if you like a certain kind of romance then you will be satisfied with these two books.
The Madman's Daughter - Megan Shepherd
This was not a perfect book, not every development was completely logical and the world-building was not without flaws, and still I enjoyed this special story a lot. The book took me on a wild and crazy ride and I just need to find out what will happen next.
