Preorders for March 2013

Add caption
A new month is just around the corner and of course I have preordered some books that will be released in March. There are only eight books on my list this time and this is quite good because my poor little TBR pile needs some time to relax. I will try to order some less books in March in general, but we all know how week I am when I discover a book that sounds good. :)

For more info on the books and to buy them on Book Depository, I'm an affiliate, click on the book titles.

Deadly Sting - Jennifer Estep
UF, adult, #8 in the Elemental Assassin series
Haven't read the series so far? Then check out "Spider's Bite", the first book in it.

The girl's guide to (man)hunting - Jessica Clare
contemporary romance, adult, #1 in the series Bluebonnet series, paperback version

Let the sky fall - Shannon Messenger
YA, SciFi with cool things like air elementals, #1 in the Let the sky fall series

Sisters of Glass - Stephanie Hemphill
historical YA, stand-alone, told in verse, paperback version

The Reece Malcolm List - Amy Spalding
contemporary YA, stand-alone

Legacy of the Clockwork Key - Kristin Bailey
steampunk YA, #1 in the trilogy
Kristin Bailey has written adult romances as Jess Granger, check out "Beyond the rain" and "Beyond the shadows", I highly recommend both books.

The trouble with flirting - Claire LaZebnik
contemporary YA, stand-alone
I read "Epic Fail", another book by the author, last year and enjoyed it a lot, so check it out.

A temptation of angels - Michelle Zink
paranormal YA, paperback version
I enjoyed the "Prophecy of the sisters" series by the author a lot, so of course I'm excited for this new book by her.

Which books do you have preordered / do you plan to buy in March?

  1. I preorder "City of Lost Souls" by Cassandra Clair since a while ago. I hope it will arrive this month. Rather Amazone wrote the delivery date was in faburary, but I think the publisher postponed the date to march, which make me always very mad :/ But I also plan to buy "Im Netz des Verbrechen" by Olga A. Krouk and "Skin Tight" by Ava Gray :)

    1. I hope you will get your books on time, I hate it when they arrive later than I thought they would.
      Happy Reading!

  2. I've preordered also some books: Requiem, the final book of the Delirium Series and Fragments, the next in the Partials Series (it's published on 28th of february but I think it doesn't arrive on thursday).
Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Princess is published in march but first I have to read Clockwork Prince. I haven't been so impressed by the first of this series so it is not a must read.
But I definitly plan to read Kiera Cass' novella The Prince and hope I can enjoy Maxon's POV.
Today I've seen that the next book of one of my favourite german fs-authors is published in march. So 'Der silberne Traum' (by Thomas Finn) is on the march tbr-pile, too. That's enough because on my existing tbr-pile are allready some great books...

    1. I also still have to read "Clockwork Prince", I have it on my shelves since shortly after the pub date but haven't been in the mood to start with it since, I'm a bad, bad reader. ;)
And thanks for the reminder on the novella by Kiera Cass, I forgot about it. :)

      Happy Reading!

  3. Legacy of the Clockwork Key has such a lovely cover! I'm going to go check out the premise on GR - hopefully the story is as good as the cover.

I've never ordered from Amazon because the shipping to NZ is dreadful. I use BookDepository instead because they have free shipping and the books are usually very competitively priced. Plus they usually arrive within 3 weeks or so which isn't too bad if you order in bulk in advance! That way there's plenty of reading material to tide you over. The whole free shipping thing is fantastic.

    1. I can imagine that having books shipped to NZ can be a pain sometimes, but three weeks doesn't seem too bad. I also order via Book Depository or from a local bookshop.

I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that "Legacy of the Clockwork Key" will be great, I'm so excited to read it.

      Happy Reading!
