Good books I read in January 2013

The first month in 2013 is over and it's time to talk a bit about the books I read in it. All in all I managed to read 28 books, which is way more that I thought I had managed to. Out of these books five were so good that I want them to recommed to you today. Overall this was an ok month, some books I was super excited for didn't work for me and that made me a bit sad. I hope that this will change in February.

  1. "Splintered" was so awesome! I loved it and I am kinda glad it is a stand-alone...or at least I hope it will stay one. It was really fun to read!

    1. I'm also glad that it seems to be a stand-alone, there are not enough of those. I'm super excited to find out what AG Howard will publish next and if she will base it on another book.

  2. 28 Books? Wow, for me that sound great. Where do you take the time from? :D I think in January I have read 10 books or so ... so thats nothing contrary to your result :D

    1. My secret is spending some hours on the train every day, it's for me the best place to read! And I don't think that it matters how many books you read, every reader is different.

  3. I don't think I could ever read 28 books in a single month... congrats! That is awesome. My start has been slow- only 3 this month. The Twisted Tragedy sounds good- I may have to add it to my tbr!

    1. "The twisted tragedy ..." was definitely a good book, I enjoyed it a lot. I would start with the first book in the series if you like the sound of it, that way you get the whole experience.
And I don't think that 3 books is slow, every reader has his/her own reading pace and that's how it's should be.

  4. I hadn't realized Splintered had anything to do with Alice in Wonderland (I think every time I see a review of it, I mostly stare at the gorgeous cover!) This makes me even more curious to read it!
28 books in a month, it is quite awesome. :)

    1. Amount wise January was definitely a good month, but unfortunately a lot of those books were just ok and not for me.
"Splintered" took me on one crazy ride and I love that, hope that you will also enjoy it.

      Happy Reading!
