Good books I read in October

October is over and all in all it was a good reading month for me. In October I left the rest of my reading slump behind me and that makes me very happy. I managed to read 34 books, which is a big amount of books, even for me. ;) That also means that my print TBR pile has right now a very nice and manageable size.

My favourites books of the month are

  • The Perfect Hope - Nora Roberts (contemporary romance, adult, #3 in the Boonsboro Inn series)
  • Incarnation - Emma Cornwall (paranormal, steampunk, adult)
  • The Marked - Inara Scott (#2 in the Talents series, paranormal, YA)
  • Dragon's Moon - Lucy Monroe (#4 in the Children of the Moon series, paranormal historical romance, A)
  • Double Time - Olivia Cunning (erotic romance, part of The Sinners series, adult) - review is coming in the next days
  • Crewel - Gennifer Albin (#1 in a dystopian/fantasy series, YA)
  • Saving CeeCee Honeycutt - Beth Hofman (adult fiction, stand-alone)

Which great books did you read in October?

  1. Wow, 34 books is quite an amount. Are 7 really books out 34 a good quote or not?
I've read 9 books and liked the most Backstage Pass and The Mark of Athena in Oktober.

I'm going to read Crewel and Double time in November. Hope it will be a good month for you too!

    1. It's an ok to good number for me. Great would have been 10 to 15 books. But lately I'm reading many ok books, so I can live with it.

Hope you will enjoy both books as much as I did.
      Happy Reading!

  2. Awesome books! I read Crewel too and totally loved it. I'm glad to hear that you liked Incarnation because I've had my eye on it and have been considering reading it!

I hope November is another great month!

    1. That's what I'm also hoping. The year started with some great reading months, so it should also end this way. :)

      Happy Reading!

  3. 34 books in a month! Wow! You're a fast reader! I could only read at least 6-8 books in a month. 12 max if the books are just thin.
    How I wish I could read fast~~^^*

    1. I have always been a fast reader, I don't know how to read slowly. But sometimes I wish it would be different, going through so many books in a month can be pretty expensive. :)

    2. I agree with you~~ it's pretty expensive buying lots of books, but it's a good investment^^*
As for me, since I don't have a salary to sustain my book-buying spree(I received just a stipend) library is always there to save the day!~~

    3. Our library only has a handful of books I want to read, so I have to buy most books.

    1. I already heard so many great things about "Hate List", and even though it's not a "happy" book I'm thinking of getting it.

    2. Hate list is an amazing book. It isn't a happy book but if you think about the theme a happy book would be inappropriate. And it's not totally sad; it's a book about living a life after a catastrophy and the question of guilt. I don't now for sure but I think you would like the struggle of the heroine...

    3. That's what I'm also thinking. The book is on my wishlist and I will get it when the time feels right.

  6. Wow Sabrina, 34 books! If I did that, I would have no internet time left, or time to review them.

    1. It makes things easier that I only review my favourites, otherwise I would be writing one review after another. :) And that's not what I want.
