Buying books is fun - five new books



New books have moved into my little home library and here they are.

Something strange and deadly - Susan Dennard

a paranormal YA books with zombies that don't sound to creepy

The Pleasure Palace - Kate Emerson

a historical romance with a heroine close to the Tudors

The Blessed - Tonya Hurley

a YA book with saints that sounds very special

The native star - M.K. Hobson

a mix of fantasy, romance in the wild west, YA

The lies that bind - Kate Carlisle

the third book in a cozy mystery series with a heroine that restores books

  2. I'm really curious how you'll like The Pleasure Palace - at the moment I'm searching for great historical romances and it does sound interesting.

    1. Let's hope that I will like it, I'm normally not the biggest fan of stuff surrounding the Tudors, but I still hope that this story will work for me.

Today I also bought books xD firstly "Before I Fall" and "Pandemonium" by Lauren Oliver :) I'm very excited to read more from her, because I've read "Delirium" very fast und love that book! :) then "Divine by Mistake" by P.C. Cast, that was a impulsively purchase xD in addition I'm happy about "Rapture" by Jacquelyn Frank :)

  7. Looks like an awesome pile of new books, except the Blessed issue is really sad. Can't believe how anybody can sell ARCs without thinking about the consequences for authors, readers and publishers...just very sad!
