Penguin Threads, Penguin English Library, Penguin Classics Deluxe - these three series of books might as well be my doom. My wishlist is full of books from the Penguin English Library series and recently some Penguin Threads and Penguin Classics Deluxe books moved into my home. Why? Because I just had to have these pretty books.
Penguin Threads
So far there are six books in this series, all books look as if the covers were made with needle and threads. So far there the following books in this series available
- Wizard of Oz
- Black Beauty
- Emma
- Little Women
- The Wind in the Willows
- The Secret Garden
Here are some pictures of my copies.
Black Beauty
Little Women
Emma
Penguin Classics Deluxe
The covers in this series are all a bit extravagant and dramatic. I'm not a fan of all covers, but most are fantastic.
This is my copy of Jane Eyre
And here are two more books from this series, The Scarlet Letter and Wuthering Heights.
Penguin English Library
So far I have no book from this series but this will change soon. My wishlist is full of books from this series, they will look so pretty and elegant on my shelves.

Sandra
They really are lovely and the version of "The Secret Garden" looks especially beautiful.
DeleteI'm in love with their fabulous copies of these books! I'm thinking on getting what will be my second copy of Jane Eyre this year! And I NEED this edition of Little Women, too!
ReplyDeleteThe book above is my third copy of Jane Eyre. My first one is in German and then I have another one (English this time) in a big book with other stories by the Bronte's. And I can understand that you NEED a copy of Little Women, that's exactly how I felt when I saw the book.
DeleteOooh, they are so pretty! They would make great gifts!
ReplyDeleteSo true, especially if you gift them to yourself. :)
DeleteI am very happy that I have never come accross those books in real life, as they sure are asking to be petted and hold close.
ReplyDeleteLol, I already petted them a bit.
