I'm reading next ... and you? #2

It's time to show you the new books I picked up to read now and next. And of course I also want to know what you are reading.

The girl who circumnavigated fairyland in a ship of her own making - Catherynne M. Valente
fantasy, YA
This book is set in a magical world in which a young girl, who longs for adventure, finally finds it. There is a book-loving dragon in the book, need I say more?

Dark Inside - Jeyn Roberts
Apocalypse, YA
First came the earthquakes, then mayhem, murder and rage. This sounds like a great premise.

Runaway - Wendelin van Draanen
contemporary, YA
This is the story of Holly, she's a runaway and trying to come to terms with her past and life. This sounds like a very emotional story.

The Glimpse - Claire Merle
dystopian, YA
This novel is about a world in which people are put in two categories, the Pures and the Crazies. And it's about Ana, who finds out that she is not a Pure. The concept of the world sounds fascinating.

Widow's web - Jennifer Estep
#7 in the Elemental Assassin series. Urban Fantasy, adult
A new book with Gin Blanco, that's all you need to know to buy and read it. ;)

Miss Hillary schools a scoundrel - Samantha Grace
historical romance, adult
A heiress v. a scoundrel, this kind of book always works for me.

What are you reading now and next?

  1. I only have the first book of the Elemental Assassins series-- need to pick it up fast!

    1. Did you already read it? If so I hope you enjoyed it. And if not then happy reading!

  2. I am looking forward what you'll think of the book by Jeyn Roberts. :)

    1. Hope it will be as good as it sounds.
      Happy Reading!

  3. Dark Inside looks great! Love the premise too! Hope it's good. Fingers crossed.

    J'adore Happy Endings

    1. I'm also hoping that it will be great.

  4. Replies
    1. It sure does, I hope it also will be great to read.

  5. I loved Dark Inside! It's one of my favourite post-apocalyptic books. I'm going to hopefully re-read it this month and then read the sequel :) Hope you enjoy it too!

    1. I already read it but unfortunately it was just ok for me. I think the idea behind the story is fantastic, but the book didn't make me feel deeply.
