I think I need to do something against the mass of just ok books that I recently read. I have nothing against a just ok book from time to time, but two weeks full of them is too much. Maybe I should develop something similar to a rain dance, but it will be a "go away just ok books" dance and it will be done in the privacy of my sleeping room. :)
But at least the last two days brought me some highly anticipated books, for example "Shadow of Night" by Deborah Harkness and "What you wish for" by Kerry Reichs. Other than the excitement of the new books my bookish life is business as normal. I'm reading book after book and always hope that the book I'm reading will be great.
My plans for the next days is to read some more books, maybe to finally film my bookshelf update and do an update on my TBR pile status.
Next week Zoe from Chic & Sassy Designs will start with the designing process for my new blog layout, and of course I'm super excited for it. And on Sunday I will eat so much cake and torte that I will feel like hell on Monday. :)
For German readers
If you are German or know any German readers, please let them know about a little campaign I started today.
So far there are no plans for a German version of "For Darkness shows the Stars" but I want to change that, so I started the "We want a German version of "For Darkness shows the stars" - campaign.
You can find out more on the campaign on my German book blog - http://buecherlit.blogspot.de/2012/07/aktion-fur-eine-deutsche-version-von.html.
