  1. Ha, too funny ... I just planned a list of books which I will buy when my ban is over (only three more weeks to go, woohoo) and Rachel Gibson's "Rescue Me" is among them!

Apropos book buying - I am contemplating to change from my book buying ban to a only-buying-a certain-amount-of-books-each-month "ban" for the rest of the year and now I am trying to find a good number which I will allow myself to buy (otherwise those TBR mountain ranges will never shrink) - so out of curiosity, how many books do you buy on average every month?

    1. Hard to say, I think at least 10 - 15 every month, but I guess it's often more than 20. :) I think this change to your ban would be a great idea, that way there's no room for becoming frustrated about not being able to buy a book.

I just realized today that there is another version for the Rachel Gibson book than the one I have, another version I like more. But of course I realized this way too late.

      Happy Reading!

    2. Thanks for sharing! I was thinking that ten might be a good number, but we'll see ... ;-)

You do love your covers, don't you? I must admit, I like pretty covers as much as the next person, but when I buy a book I usually pay more attention to the price. So, basically I will more often than not end up buying the version which is cheaper (unless it's a series, then I do want matching covers and might buy a more expensive one too ... then again, my whole Shopaholic series is an awful mix and match, yikes).

    3. I also look at the price, but when the difference is only a view cents I usually choose the cover I like more.

  2. I'd like to read Beautiful and the Shattering, but I have to be honest - I don't know most of these books. Have to check goodreads, I guess.

(Are you a twilight fan? just as a question)

    1. Yes, I like Twilight and I have no problem with saying so. :). But my fav from Meyer is definitely "The Host", I love this book.

Hope you will find some of the books interesting.
      Happy Reading!

  3. Ah, I am SO HAPPY to see Second Helpings in that haul. I adore Jessica Darling. I read them ages ago when they were all first released (which is 10 years for Sloppy Firsts) so I'm definitely in need of a reread. Enjoy your haul! :)
