Books of the week - the TBR pile can relax

This week was an ok one. I got some new books I'm super excited to read and I managed to read a large number of books, so many that TBR pile has actually gotten quiet a bit smaller.

Bought
Threads by Sophia Bennett
Adorkable by Sarra Manning
Unlovable - Sherry Gammon
No turning back - Tiffany Snow

Favourite books of the week
none :( Hope that next week this will change.

I'm reading now

A million suns by Beth Revis

Next week I plan to read

  3. This week I've mostly been re-reading some of my favorites, like "Love in the Afternoon" by Lisa Kleypas and "Nine Rules to Break While Romancing a Rake" by Sarah MacLean, so of course I loved them.
I've started another book I've been very exited about, namely "Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart", but I'm having some real problems with the heroine so that didn't work out so well. :( So now I'm a bit clueless what to read next. I really want to start reading "Howl's Moving Castle", but I just ordered it, so I'll have to wait for that.

I'm really interested in what you'll think about "Sweet Evil". On the one hand it sounds like it could be an awesome book, but on the other hand it has the potential for A LOT of drama... guess we'll see. ^.^

    1. I'm also excited to find out how "Sweet Evil" will work for me. Like you I'm not a big fan of drama and all the positive reviews I read on the book make me a bit nervous. Because many reviewers like things (drama and love triangles for example) I don't want in books.

      Happy Reading!

  4. I did read almost nothing this week, I have been insanely busy, even though it is a 4 day weekend. And tomorrow there will be no reading time either. Sad face. I miss my books. So the last book I read was last Sunday, and it was the most awesome one from this year. Jean Johnson - A soldier's duty. Sci-fi/paranormal. Love it to pieces.

    1. At least you managed to read one great book in the last seven days. I can understand that you miss reading, so I hope that you will have more time next week.

      Happy Reading!

  5. I still haven't had the chance to get A Million Suns, the first book surprised me! I'm not into sci-fi at all! BUT oh boy!! That book!! >.<
I also am completely jealous about Stork! There's just something about that book cover that calls to me :D
    Happy Reading!

  6. I really want to read Nightshifted. I don't usually buy books on release week but I may just make an exception for it. I had a very enjoyable reading week, with Blood Magic by Eileen Wilks which is the 6th in her World of the Lupi series and Perfection (Neighbors From Hell), a self-pubbed contemporary romance novel. The author, RL Mathewson, reminds me of Shelly Laurenston. Her characters are outrageous and over-the-top, and you either love her stuff, or dislike it.

    1. Yeah, great to hear that you had a good week.
In Germany the first and the second book in the Nightshifted series have already been released, no idea why we got the translated books for once earlier.

      Happy Reading!
