Books of the week - my poor little head

This week was a very slow one. Since Tuesday evening I have a bad migraine and reading when your brain feels like it might explode any second is no fun. Let's hope that next week will be better and that I will manage to read more books.

New books got this week (all bought besides one)

Love's rhythm (ebook) - Lexxie Couper
The Witness (my bought copy) - Nora Robers; my book impression post
Belles (audio version) - Jen Calonita
Paranormalcy (I already listened to the audio version) - Kiersten White
Stormy Springtime - Betty Neels (oops, forget to add the book to my pics ;) )
Worldshaker - Richard Harland
Royal Street (won from Aurian, thanks!) - Suzanne Johnson
The last princess - Galaxy Craze
Kiss the bride - Deirdre Martin and others
Junipper Berry - MP Kozlowsky

Read
Love's Rhythm - Lexxie Couper
Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch
Grave Mercy - Robin LaFevers
Stormy Springtime - Betty Neels
Belles - Jen Calonita

Favourite books of the week
Grave Mercy - Robin LaFevers; my book impression post;
A great historical novel with fantasy elements that makes me excited for more in the series. Strong characters, an interesting plot, a dangerous world, a group of female assassins and a mysterious convent made this book so special and fantastic.

Belles - Jen Calonita; a book impression post will follow in the next days
A very entertaining contemporary novel told in alternating points of views. Drama, politics, the start into a new life and intrigues made this book a joy to read. I will definitely go on with this series.

Reading right now
Seizure - Kathy Reichs
The Last Princess - Galaxy Craze

Reading next week
Radiate - Marley Gibson
Murder with Puffins - Donna Andrews
The sweet scent of blood - Suzanne McLeod
Always a witch - Carolyn MacCullough

    1. I like the contemporary romances by Suzanne Enoch, but I think lately she has written only historicals. But I still might check out some of her books I haven't read so far.

      Happy Reading!

    1. I really loved the idea of The Last Princess and especially that it was about fictive Windsor family (love reading about the British Royals), but something was missing to make it a great book for me.

      Have a great new week!
