Books of the week #32 - a good mix

The first week in April is over and it was an ok one. I read a lot of books, but most of them were just average. The books I received in the mail this week are a good mix of the different genres I read.

New books I got this week (all bought)
Illuminate - Aimee Agresti (paranormal, YA)
Sweet Addiction - Maya Banks (erotic romance)
The pleasures of men - Kate Williams (historical fiction)
Fated - Sarah Alderson (paranormal, YA)
Cinder - Marissa Meyer (fantasy, YA)

50% off murder - Josie Belle (cozy mystery)
Storm' Heart - Thea Harrison (paranormal romance)
Nice girls don't bite their neighbors - Molly Harper (paranormal romance)
The Duke's perfect wife - Jennifer Ashley (historical romance)
Always and Forever - Betty Neels (contemporary romance)
An ideal wife - Betty Neels (contemporary romance)

I'm reading right now
Runemarks - Joanna Harris (fantasy, YA)
A witch in winter - Ruth Warburton (paranormal, YA)
Discount Armageddon - Seanan McGuire (Urban Fantasy)

Next week I plan to read
Partials - Dan Wells (dystopian, YA)
By a thread - Jennifer Estep (Urban Fantasy)
Wicked Games - Sasha Wagstaff (chick lit)
Blood Song - Cat Adams (Urban Fantasy)
and some of the ebooks I bought in the last weeks and months

    1. True. :) Five of the books were preorders, that's why I got so many books in total. But yes, I really love book shopping!

  3. Ohh, ich hasse das wenn man nur so mittelmäßige Bücher liest. Ich bin gerade auch in so einer Phase. Man liest, liest, liest aber kommt nie an was gutem vorbei. Schade.

    1. Yay, more love for Cinder. I love the synopsis of it and that it sounds different from many other fantasy books. Illuminate really looks great, hope that the content will be as good as it's cover.

      Happy Reading!

  7. I so admire you for being able to pick the books you will read in advance! For me it is a difficult choice almost every time I pick a new book to start. What am I in the mood for, which one will I pick? After all, so many choices!
I am looking forward to finally getting my hands on Harts book by Jennifer Ashley, and I do recommend the Jennifer Estep book I saw in the pics. And you can't go wrong with Thea Harrison either. Have fun reading Sabrina :)

    1. Sometimes it's hard to really read the books I picked in advance, but all in all the system to first read the books that have been in my TBR pile the longest really works for me.

I'm super excited to read the book by Jennifer Estep because I love the Elemental Assassin series.

Happy Reading and have a great week.
