Can you recommend any adult book blogs?

I love to read book blogs and read a good number of them regularly. But lately I realized that I read a lot of YA book blogs and only a few adult book blogs. So I'm looking for some new to me adult book blogs. I would also love to get the names of booktubers who talk about adult books.

Of course I have some requirements :)

  • the blog should be about adult books (or both YA and adult)
  • the blogger should love to read adult romances
  • it would be nice if the blogger also likes books like romances, erotic romances, cozy mysteries, chick-lit paranormal romances and UF (as long as it's not too dark) - or at least books from some of these genres
  • the blogger should have a positive attitude (no drama posts or too many snarky reviews)
  • the blogger should buy about half of her books (blogs who get a lot of ARCs tend to concentrate too much on new books for me, plus they tend to be a bit too similar to other blogs who feature the same ARCs)
  • the blogger should be enthusiastic about books and happy to spend money on books

If you know any good blogs that feature adult books and that fit to my requirements, then please let me know in the comments.

  1. Here are some blogs that focus on erotic romance for the most part-since that's what I write that's mostly what I know of. : )

  4. I will be thrilled to know when you get a list :) I think we follow most of the same blogs but I don't know to many that aren't ARC heavy. Since I quit doing review books (mostly) there aren't a whole lot out there that are reviewing books that I can pick up now (not weeks from now)

    (I like the new layout)

    1. Thanks!

I second what you said about blogs that aren't ARC heavy, right now I find it very hard to find a lot of them that I don't already know. And it gets harder and harder to find bloggers who buy most of their books.

  5. I don't pay attention to whether they are reviewing ARCs or finished copies, but here are some blogs that seem to cover a little bit of everything (without much or any snark) - YA, paranormal, SciFi romance, contemp and historical romance, the occasional mystery....

  8. I was glad to find this post. I was adventuring out to do the same thing and went to the Book Blogger Directory. Kind of large and looming, but yours was the first blog I pulled up and found you experiencing the same thing I have been feeling. Will definitely check out all the comments and other suggested blogs. Thanks!

    1. It's so good to hear that I'm not alone with this feeling. The book blogger directory is scary big, so I don't even want to look there.

  10. You are very welcome to visit my blog Sabrina, I hardly ever do ARC's, as I prefer the finished product, and I do buy all my own books. I don't like "having" to read a book because the author asked me to. And I even read some Nora Roberts now and then ;)

  11. Sabrina, I think that we have a lot in common. I review a cozy mystery bi-weekly on Mondays, alternating with Memorable Mondays, my review for a book with a publication date older than a year. We share a lot of the same genres. I review both YA and Adult. I stop in on occasion here. Following you on G+ and in my reader.
