Books of the week #31 - not a lot of time to read

This week I have no favourite book of the week, the few books I managed to read were good or just ok, but none was great. I hope that this will change next week.

Books I received this week (all bought)
Smoulder (aka The Space Between) - Brenna Yovanoff
Dämonisches Tattoo - Brigitte Melzer
Runelight - Joanne Harris
The Look - Sophia Bennett
Shattered Dreams - Ellie James
Surrender - Lee Nichols

Books I'm reading right now
Runemarks - Joanne Harris
The Faerie Ring - Kiki Hamilton
A quick bite - Lynsay Sands

Books I plan to read next
The little giant of Aberdeen County - Tiffany Baker
How to dance with a Duke - Manda Collins
Flat-out love - Jessica Park
Forbidden - Syrie James & Ryan M. James

  2. I haven't read a single book of these, but I love those pink pages ! I've heard the Faerie Ring is great, so I'll be curious to see your review. Happy reading :)

    1. Dito, the pink pages look fantastic.
I finished "The Faerie Ring" and enjoyed the book (4 out of 5 stars). I think that at the end of story there was too much concentration of the faeries (I don't like faeries), but still I liked reading the book.

  3. I love de Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. It's the perfect book if you want lots of laughs and smiles. Endearing family. Hope you like them too!

  5. No fav book of the week because I didn't read much. I just finished "Goddess of Love" by P.C. Cast but I wouldn't call it my fav book of the week. ;)
I have not decided which of the books I took home with me I'll start first. ;)

    1. I know the feeling, some weeks there are only ok/good books. I think my mom once read a book by P.C. Cast, but she didn't really like it.

Hope you will spend a great time back home. Happy Reading!

  6. I have wanted to read Forbidden for a long time, but for some reason I always end up reading something else. I have tried to decide beforehand what to read next but that strategy just doesn't work for me.. When it's time to start a new book I never feel like reading the one I originally decided to read. There's always some other book that I feel more like reading.
But I'm curious as to whether or not you'll like Forbidden. :)

    1. I sometimes I change spontaneously what I want to read, but often my mini TBR piles work for me. Forbidden sounds good and I hope that it will it will be a refreshing story.

      Happy Reading!
