♥ A special day
At least for me. :) Today I got an ARC that I'm super excited to read, because it's by one of my favourite authors. From the Little, Brown Book Group I got a copy of "The Witness" by Nora Roberts and nothing could make me happier right now. Books by favourite authors, like Nora Roberts, are an exception to my no ARC rule. You can bet that I will start with reading the book later today.
"The Witness" will be out in April and it is Nora's stand-alone novel in 2012.
♥ Dear Mr. Postman
Today I could hug and kiss my Mr. Postman. Besides "The Witness" he also brought me three preordered books I'm excited to read.

♥ A pile of books for my sis
My sister is coming home tonight and I bought a big pile of books for her. These books should make sure that she will not get bored during her break from university.

♥ I'm Juli
Some of you might have already seen our dog Juli in my last "Books of the week" video, if not, here she is. Juli is 5 months old and a Bouvier, of course we all love her.
♥ Ice-cream
Today I had my first real ice-cream of the year. My favourite ice-cream shop opened again two weeks ago (the owners spend the winter in Italy) and today I went there and got 3 big scoops: White Chocolate, Almond and Cream-Cherry plus extra cream on top - it was soooooo yummy.

Oh, you got 'By a Thread' - I'm really curious how you'll like it. I don't know yet if I should read it, because I really liked the ending of book #5 and for me the story doesn't need more books. But you never know, maybe I'll change my mind ;)
ReplyDeleteI already read the end of it (the last 15 pages) and really liked it. Donovan makes an appearance and Gin handles the situation brilliantly.

ReplyDeleteI just started A Rogue by Any Other Name today. I love the "Love by Numbers" series, so hopefully I'll like this one too. :)
