More impressions
  • This is a story about a seventeen year old girl who is a member of a family of witches, but her own Talents never showed up. Of course things are about to change!
  • I loved reading about the family interactions between Tamsin, her parents, her grandmother and her sister Rowena.
  • I liked the Talents that exist in the author's world of witchcraft.
  • I liked that the book is not too young, Tamsin is already 17 (nearly 18).
  • The book was more thrilling and, especially towards the end, darker than I thought it would be (but not too dark).
  • The romance is a sweet and relaxed one - just what I like.
  • There is a second book in the series (I found no info about more books) and I'm super excited to read it.
