What are your favourite "make me feel better" books.

Whenever I'm feeling a bit sad or sick there are some books that will lighten my mood and make me feel better. My favourite "make me feel better" books are by Nora Roberts and Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I like to listen to them on my iPod while lying in bed. I especially like to listen to the Bride Quartet because the books are about friendship & love without too much drama going on.

I want to know: what are your favourite "make me feel better" books?

  1. Something heartbreaking and full of emotions. That might sound weird but it just makes you feel alive when reading a book that makes your heart ache and even waters your eyes!

I like to espace in Twilight, but any wonderful Love Story does it for me!

  2. I don't think I have any particular book. It generally depends on my mood ... but I'll definitely pick up books with happy endings.

  3. The whole Harry Potter series puts me in a good mood and definitely makes me feel better :)

  4. I know it sounds ironic, but I love cheesy happy-ending romances that make me cry.

  5. I like the MacKade brothers to comfort me. Same works with the Chicago Stars or the NY Blades books. It has to be romance and sometimes I like to get lost in some steamy action. *g*

  6. anything by Lynn Kurland, Marcia Lynn McClure or Janette Rallison. It's impossible to read any of their books and not smile the whole time:)
