When football star Dean Robillard and penniless Blue Bailey meet in the middle of nowhere they don't know that this meeting will change both their lives completly. Blue needs to get to the next big city and Dean is in need of some entertainment so they decide to drive off together in his car.
Their journey brings them to Dean's new farm and after spending some days together with Blue he doesn't want her out of his life. Even though at first glance they seem to be completly different they understand each other in a way nobody else does.
Dean's parents, his half-sister and a stubborn old lady make sure that life on the farm doesn't get boring. He realizes that he has deep feelings for Blue and that she fits perfectly into his crazy family. But will commitment shy Blue feel the same?
Natural Born Charmer is one of my favourite romances ever and there are a lot of reasons for it. The characters are amazing and feel so alive. The storyline is fascinating and I always have to laugh & smile a lot when reading this book. Some scenes are so hilarious (for example the beaver scene) and there are also a lot of lovely but also some melancholic scenes. Blue and Dean are a special couple and I love everything about them and their relationship. I enjoy reading about all(!) the characters in the book and that's saying a lot. I also love the second love story between Dean's parents.
I could go on and on with the praising because I just enjoy this book so much but I guess it's time to stop.
Love the green colour (one of my fav colours) of the UK cover, however I don't know what the woman on the cover has to do with the story (nothing I guess).
This book is full of funny, lovely and witty scenes. It's also full of charming and great characters. Everything about Natural Born Charmer is just perfect and I love rereading this book again and again. SEP is a master of creating unique and likable characters. She is also a master of creating wonderful Happy Ever Afters and if you are a fan of contemporary romances you should give this book a try.
