Jane Austen was brilliant (no suprise, I know)

I found this "quote" by Jane Austen in the following very interesting article about the romance genre "In defense of romance: Proving the stereotypes wrong" - just follow the link to read the whole article http://yaleherald.com/arts/in-defense-of-romance-proving-the-stereotypes-wrong/

Austen poked fun at the critics of the time, who were dismissive of popular novels, by basically saying,
‘You’re right, these books only deal with the most thorough knowledge of human nature, the liveliest expressions of wit and humor, and the polished nuances of language. Oh, how trite.’

It's no wonder that I love her books!
